Seirra Herd
I met Seirra through Instagram, I had put a post out looking for potential new faces to photograph.
With this shoot, I started with certain ideas I had but once meeting her and starting to do the shoot, my mind changed quite a bit for ideas. The Creative process is always fun.
As stated above, my mind kept shifting to many different ideas and lighting concepts. She was very open to anything and really wanted to be apart of the process.
Diving into the shoot we started with a simple set up. I used a 30” octobox to her front left, turned to feather the light as soft as possible across her. This allowed me to get a softer light, with more shadows creating the drama I love so much in imagery.
The second Set up was a 60” Octobox off to the left of the subject pointed slightly down and feathered to me as much as possible to give a nice even soft light, as well as taking the light from the white paper giving the grey contrast.
I loved this shoot because, using one light, you can create so many different moods and with the three above, it shows.
All of this was shot to Captureone Pro
